GET TO KNOW THE 8 WONDERS:NOELIA

Good afternoon everyone!
We have decided that we are going to tell you about our experience studying and carrying out daily tasks from home so as you know how we are dealing with this situation.

Well, it's my turn! I am Noelia, currently I am writing from Albacete, on the sixth day of quarantine confinement. Honestly, I have started to do many new things, including cooking 🥞 (Always sweets: cakes, biscuits...), exercising at home 🏋️‍♀️(trying to get abs for this summer), going back to play on PlayStation 🎮 with my brother, and sleeping a lot💤.

In addition, I am also reading so much since it is necessary to be able to advance in some subjects (literature and theatre). I am not being lazy because I usually work during my productive hours: from 10 to 13 and from 16 to 18. After that, I have enough free time to do the activities mentioned above.
Linguistics subject is easy to keep up to date. The good thing about this subject is that the online platform is very well organized and I know perfectly what are the tasks that I need to deliver each week. In addition, book activities can be done without prior explanations (in fact, in class we usually do the exercises and then we ask possible doubts). So, it could be said that it is simple although it is distance learning. I really appreciate this because with other subjects we are experiencing total chaos: it takes longer to understand where are the requested tasks and how we should send them than to do them.
At the moment, I have finished unit 4 and, until April 1, I do not have to submit works via Moodle. So, now I have time to summarize the theory and review exercises in order to memorize and understand everything. In addition, group 8 is very active by our WhatsApp group: sharing memes, funny videos and, of course, planning the projects.

Well, this is my daily life, because I don't have a dog and, therefore, I can't go down the street to walk. In addition, my father is the one who buys the bread, and my mother always takes out the garbage... Then, what else can I do? I hope that my colleagues have been quicker than me when choosing one of these tasks. My final hope is that this situation ends soon, because I am starting to miss face-to-face classes (that’s worrying).
Have a good quarantine! We still keep in touch.😀
Greetings, Noelia.

  1. Even if you can't go out, you are still surrounded by people you love! That is nice!
